Product Description:
This delightful and practical pincushion is made from a gorgeous, powder blue, antique coffee cup and saucer with fluted rims. I believe it is of continental design.The cushion fabric itself is a cheerful duck egg blue with old fashioned roses in shades of pink and red, with vibrant green leaves.
I have embellished the cushion with a mini haberdashery selection of buttons in complimenting shades of pink and blue, and a smattering of high quality, tiny faux pearl beads. All the embellishments are hand stitched into position and the pincushion is finished with a double hand tied bow of narrow satin ribbon in pink and aqua.
The cup and saucer have been kept as separate items.
A lovely gift for a seamstress or lover of vintage!
