You can imagine this exotic waterlily floating on a calm lake.

<br />This handmade piece will give you a totally unique look.

<br />Kanzashi are Japanese-style hair ornaments, made of individually folded squares of silk.
<br />
<br />A medium (3 inches diameter), 24 petal flower with 2 layers of 5 petals around.
<br />
<br />There are very pale pink stamens in the middle and it is backed with pale pink felt and a crocodile hair clip.
<br />
<br />The petals are:
<br />White silk
<br />Pale turquoise silk
<br />Cerise silk
<br />
<br />Please bear in mind that the colours you see on your screen may not exactly match the appearance of the kanzashi 'in the flesh', though I have tried to show them as accurately as possible!
