Knitted wedding wrap, reds, warm shawl, long wide scarf, cosy stole
<br />This is a luxury one-off hand knitted wrap that took many hours to produce.
<br />It would be perfect for a special occasion like a wedding - but it is versatile enough to be worn all year round. It is an elegant piece, definitely suitable as a cover up over a Christmas evening dress or to protect you from the breezes if you are lucky enough to be on a cruise.
<br />I have made a limited range of these in different colour palettes. They are linked by design but every wrap is unique - I would not be able to reproduce them exactly even if I wanted to.
<br />This one is in shades of scarlet and crimson, with a touch of orange and fuchsia pink and a discreet flash of gold. There is also a little black and ice blue, for contrast. I selected a wide range of yarns for this one - soft wool and cotton together with a wide range of ribbon and novelty yarns to add texture and a subtle hint of reflected light.
