Description
Pemco was a local sardine harvested and packed by Sunset Packing Company of West Pembroke, Maine. The Sunset Packing Company closed it doors in 1962. Pembroke is just a hop down the road from Calais where these wool felt sardines are packed!
<br />Art or toy? I'm not sure but they are fun to open and play with. The velco makes a wonderful sound that gives you that real sardine eating experience.
<br />The label is printed on a colorfast fabric and the lid and sardines are stitched with wool felt.
