Product Description:

Pemco was a local sardine harvested and packed by Sunset Packing Company of West Pembroke, Maine. The Sunset Packing Company closed it doors in 1962. Pembroke is just a hop down the road from Calais where these wool felt sardines are packed!
Art or toy? I'm not sure but they are fun to open and play with. The velco makes a wonderful sound that gives you that real sardine eating experience.
The label is printed on a colorfast fabric and the lid and sardines are stitched with wool felt.
