Wool scarf extra long knit light blue cream
I knitted this scarf lengthwise in a fairly open dropstitch pattern. I used a variety of yarns in pale blue, lavender grey and cream, with just a touch of purple and brown. I hand dyed some of them to get the perfect shade. The scarf features a beautiful lustrous Colinette ribbon yarn and there is a very subtle pinprick of sparkle which looks fabulous in sunlight.
The resulting scarf is very soft, light and warm. It is also very long - rock chick down to the ground if you want. But it is soft and fine enough to wrap many times - so I would use it doubled up for ultimate cosiness. I have kept the fringe really long and luxurious - but this could obviously be trimmed if you prefer
The scarf measures approx. 110 inches long, plus 11.5 inches of fringe at either end, and it is 5 inches wide.
