These earings are a part of my new Luxe collection. Fine silver textured little disks connect to zandrites and hang from sterling silver fish hooks. Zandrite is the lab grown variety of Alexandrite. It has the same chemical and physical properties as well as the color changing phenomena as the genuine gemstone. In daylight, it looks purple and at night, blue. Fun Fact: Alexandrite was named after Alexander II, Czar of Russia, because it was discovered on his birthday.
