Product Description:

This hand stitched brooch features orange roses and white gypsophila embroidered in fabrics and yarns, on a knitted background - a lovely gift for Mothers Day.

A mohair yarn, in warm shades of russet, gold and green has been chosen for the background of this brooch. A small hand knitted panel has been fulled, or felted to give a closer texture. A strip of orange print, cotton fabric has been used to stitch the central rose. A chenille yarn, tapestry wool and merino yarns are used for the other blooms and leaves.

The back of the brooch is neatened with green felt. The edge of the brooch is finished with blanket stitch in crochet cotton. A brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
