Product Description:

I have always had a passion for books. An opportunity to use some of my huge stash of lace which I have collected arose when I decided to make covers for A5 sketchbooks/journals. A sheet of linen was used as the base after it had been fused with interfacing. I layered several laces on a pre-drawn template. Each layer of lace was machined stitched.

This particular journal has a photo of a pretty young woman printed on linen, five yellow shell buttons, six guipure flowers, vintage floral braid, sequins and hand stitched gold braid at the bottom.
