Product Description:

I have created this vibrant abstract ink art poppy coaster with alcohol inks, fine glitter and clear acrylic gel. The artwork is set into an acrylic casement and fitted with felt feet to protect furniture. Size 4 x 4 inches.

To achieve the 'backlit' or 3D effect the images are created by dropping ink onto acetate. Ink used in this way can be very delicate to work with so my work is painted in reverse onto acetate and the finished image is then sandwiched between the laminate and a sheet of plain white card to protect it.
