Product Description:

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

It is a butterfly made from golden topaz coloured glass, gently textured, topaz being the UK birthstone colour for November. The other sections of the butterfly are clear, frost patterned glass to give it movement and interest.

I've made the little topaz coloured head in my hotpot kiln and added tiny dichroic chips for eyes.

I'm really pleased with this new 2014 design of butterfly and also with the idea of making one for each month / birthstone.
