Beautiful amethyst chips have been threaded onto a double length of pale gold macrame cord, and knotted to keep them in place, in this simple but very pretty necklace.

<br />The amethyst chips are highly polished and display a lovely variety of shades, from darker purple, through to pale mauve, clear and pale yellow.
<br />
<br />The macrame cord is fine and silky but very strong.
<br />
<br />The necklace has a nice drape and fastens with a simple lobster clasp. It measures approximately 89cm (35 inches).
