Product Description:

A stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

A butterfly made from iridised Aquamarine glass, ripple textured, this being the UK birthstone colour for March.
The other sections are iridised textured clear glass to give extra shimmer.
This clear glass also has a lovely turquoise shimmer.

I've made the little aquamarine coloured head in my hotpot kiln and added tiny bright dichroic chips for eyes.

I'm really pleased with this new 2014 design of butterfly and also with the idea of making one for each month / birthstone.
