This sky blue and white platter is decorated with the impression of a stalk and flower of Queen Annes Lace, the ubiquitous "ditch weed". I love these flowers from the carrot family, and pluck them when I see them in the ravine or on walks through the park. I impress them into soft clay and quickly shape a piece around their design. A great serving piece, or just put it on display!
