Note this is not broken - that is just the title of the piece.

<br />This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
<br />
<br />A brand new new design which I've christened Broken Glass.
<br />It's based on a piece of fractured glass and the red denotes what often happens when you play with broken glass, blood.
<br />
<br />I've used only clear glass for this piece but with lots of different textures and plenty of iridescent which has a turquoise and pink shimmer. The glass itself looks to be cracked in places but isn't, that's just the texture of the glass.
<br />The blood is made from 3 glass nuggets and a small piece of white and red streaked glass.
<br />It's framed with twisted wire for strength and neatness.
