Description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
<br />
<br />A VW Campervan in a lovely shade of iridescent Royal Blue. The other parts are white and streaky for extra interest, A classic design.
<br />The badge is a painted oven baked glass nugget, the headlights little clear glass nuggets and it has matching shiny blue nugget wheels .
<br />
<br />I've made the split windscreen from raindrop patterned glass.
<br />
<br />This suncatcher is hung from a chain which is securely attached by a solder wire ring to the top of the campervan. Please though do not try driving with it hanging in the window as it is glass and therefore a little delicate.
<br />
<br />This is 9cm wide and 11cm high.
<br />
<br />It would make a beautiful and unique present for anyone but especially of course for someone with a V W Campervan. It looks really lovely hanging in a window of the house, as well as in a motorhome, where it shines and catches the light all year round.
