Ceramic serving dish with hydrangea botanical design by Clayshapes

I collect flowers and leaves on morning walks, and when I get back to my studio I impress them into soft clay and form dishes and bowls and platters around them. This hydrangea one is from my friend Sheila's garden. In real life it's snow white. In my studio, it seemed best to glaze it in purple with bright chartreuse leaves. Artistic license at work! It's a great fruit bowl, or serving dish for whatever your are having tonight!
