Copper Metalwork Earrings with Golden Yellow Pearl by lunedesigns
Description
These earrings are based on a tube bail design I did, but flipped upside down and miniaturized for earrings. I added little hammered loops at the bases for dangling beads.

<br />First I transferred a gorgeous digital damask design from Aesthetic Addictions to my metal using a toner-based resist system, and after etching I added all the little holes and tube rivets and formed them into these little handbag shapes. The flowers in the pattern made me think of sunflowers so goldenrod became the central color. I tried virtually every color in the rainbow with them! But when I tried the amazonite, I immediately thought of French country decor, and Van Gogh's "Haystacks in Provence" and that was that.
