Product Description:
The theme for this collage is based around the discarded page, torn from a mystery novel which I found blowing down the street one day. It's not a book I've ever read, but doesn't the title make it sound exciting?!And of course, the colour red had to feature.
The sides of the frame are backed in delightful, delicate, handmade paper accented with spots of blood red (not pictured). Inside and around the frame are carefully arranged trinkets -a plastic fawn silhouette, a cunning black moustache disguise, a temperature dial for when we turn up the heat, vintage and new buttons, beads, gems, chains, a lucky number 7, a cameo, a key, a top hat, and, perhaps, the murder weapon! A cut section from the text that inspired me forms part of the background.
This evocative piece would add a quirky touch to the wall space of super-sleuths everywhere.
