Description
A baby elephant on vintage metal meccano wheels made from osnaburg which has been hand-dyed with a strong coffee mixture, baked in the oven, then lightly sanded to hive him his vintage look. He would be perfect for a bookcase or shelf as he stands just 19cm tall, and is about 26cm long from his tail to his head.
<br />Baby elephant has vintage boot buttons for eyes, making him unsuitable for children. I have finished him with a rusty bell around his neck, and a pull-along string attached the axle of the wheels, also with a rusty bell attached. baby elephant is one of my own designs and was stitched entirely on an old singer treadle machine.
<br />Please note he is intended for decoration and is not suitable for children.
