Product Description:

Yes, I know, not your usual TARDIS, but maybe the Doctor almost had his chameleon circuit working?

This is what was known as a Police Post – not quite a Police Box, in that the police couldn’t go inside, but performed much the same function in that they were able to contact the station via telephone. This one is located near St Paul’s Cathedral in London.

My family and I went into London one day to have a look around, and as usual, I took my trusty camera with me. Being avid Doctor Who fans, this Police Post leapt out at me - we'd seen Police Boxes in Edinburgh (massive things compared to what Whovians would consider usual) but this was the first time we'd encountered a Police Post!
I substantially altered the colour and contrast of this photograph, using Photobucket to give it a "Pop Art" effect.
