Description
This one's a bit different... a piece of ornate book cover, which I've tucked up in a brass setting with some beautiful lace. Topped off with one of my own wee clay roses, I've finished this brooch off with a securely fastened pin on the back.

<br />The lace is made in Derbyshire on the same 18th century machines used by the company's founders during the Industrial Revolution - it's lovely to be able to contribute, even in a teeny way, to keeping our textile heritage going!

<br />Approx 7cms across, looks great on any lapel, bag, hairband, cardi, wristy-cuff thingy.... you name it.
