Description
Part of my Joysofglass Fused Glass collection. All handcut by me, decorated and then fused in my kiln.

<br />My glass fusing kiln is only small so these fused glass pieces are all one-off designs, no mass production possible.
<br />
<br />A little, 7cm square dish, twice fired in my kiln, first to fuse all the glass together, 2nd to slump it over a little mould into a shallow dish shape.
<br />
<br />This little dish is quite ornately decorated. It has rather an Egyptian look to it.
<br />
<br />The centre is a red decorated design.
<br />On two sides I've added a strip of very sparkly red dichroic and on the other 2 sides a little striped design with more twinkly dichroic.
<br />I've finished it with a border of some lovely iridescent dark red glass which has wonderful shimmers.
