hand crochet mittens, made from sock yarn (80% wool) with buttons on the cuffs. Summer is coming to an end and it's time to get prepared for the colder seasons, seeing the first signs of autumn, with chilly mornings and evenings, I decided to make some warm mittens using sock yarn, which is 80% wool, so lovely and warm. The cuffs can be unbuttoned, but are wide enough just to be slipped on....Summer may be coming to an end, but I do love autumn, the ever changing colours and moods of light and shadows, the days becoming shorter and the thought of creating something new...
