Lovely handspun yarn with crackle glass beads and lovely long locks. Its possibly the most unusual yarn I have made to date and a real Art Yarn.
First I handspun a leaf green single then I made a thick and thin Art single too, and included lots of bright greens, lilacs and purples. I also tailspun in some hand dyed locks and 2 tone crackle glass beads. Finally I plyed the two together, and kept the yarn nice and airy.
You couldnt knit a whole garment with these extra special 32yards but you wouldn't want to. It would really work so much better as a weaving embellishment, funky gift tie, Hair braid, border detail or hood/hat edging. Let your imagination go to town.
Following spinning all my yarns are skeined, washed, set and stretched.
