Product Description:
Handthrown ceramic container with copper oxide.Handmade ceramic vessel handthrow on a potters wheel with white clay. The brown coloured effect is achieved by applying copper oxide inside and outside fine copper wire. The container is then fired so that part of the wire burns away and leaves brown shadow lines. Whirlpool pattern inside.
As it's fired at a low temperature the container is porous will not contain liquid.
Dimensions: 12cm in diameter and 4.5cm high approximately
*Because of the nature of my work and the material i use it is very unlikely that further copies of this item will be produced in the future.*
