Large Shibori Silk Scarf - Tartan Graffiti - Folksy

This large, luxurious square silk scarf in my 'tartan graffiti' design was hand-dyed using the shibori technique of folding and clamping. The process was repeated several times to achieve the final pattern. The fabric is pure silk habotai 8 which is a slightly heavier silk that drapes beautifully and has a lovely sheen. The bold colours and lines are reminiscent of tartan but the overall effect made me think of graffiti, hence the name!
