Handcrafted of Solid 1+ inch Pine Wood. Heavy weight and Hand Painted and then Sealed for years of enjoyment for your feathered friends. Roof(s) painted with a rubber Flex Seal coating for water proofing year after year.

Easy Open top for gathering bird nest after the birds no longer require them. Birds do not re-use their nests after hatchlings have learned to fly- a happy bonus for those of us that love to collect bird nests.

Please note that the paint, roof and sealant are bird and environmentally friendly. Each piece is hand painted in a flat finish as well as sealed in a flat finish. Ornithology Studies have shown that birds are repelled by a shiny, reflective surface and simply will not make use of a birdhouse that shines, shimmers, glistens or otherwise glares in the sunlight.
