Description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
<br />
<br />It is a Noah's Ark complete with animals.
<br />There is a zebra, a giraffe and an elephant.
<br />
<br />The hull of the ark is in sea colours of blue streaked with green.
<br />
<br />The cabin is made from iridescent raindrop glass (for obvious reasons !) and the roof is heavily textured amber and brown (to give the effect of wood).
<br />
<br />There are two little 'lamps' made from crystal glass beads hanging from the roof. I have 'tiled' the top of the roof by adding a piece of twisted wire,

<br />The Noah's Ark is 12cm long and 9cm high. It hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely soldered to the roof of the ark.
