Description

A felted and embroidered harvest design decorates the front of this hand-stitched notebook cover (A6 notebook inlcuded).
<br />
<br />Sky blue wool fibers have been felted to a background of eco felt (produced from recycled plastic bottles) to produce the background for the 'harvest' design panel on the front of this cover. A wide variety of yarn snippets, carefully collected from other yarn projects have been added to represent the cornfield. Stitching in fine cotton has been added to the sky to 'stabilise' the felting and the poppy field has been carefully couched over for durability. The cover is edged in blanket stitch using threads to match the areas of the design. Simple embroidery stitches have been used to embroider poppies and daisies.
