An Original Encaustic (Wax) painting. Size 6.5 x 4.5 inches, mounted to a 10 x 8 frame mount board all ready to pop straight into a 10 x 8 frame (20.4 x 25.4cms) I have created this artwork using wax and a hot iron, this type of work is known as Encaustic. Painted over a prepapred background using scarps of vintage book paper, wax and metal leaf
