An Original Encaustic (Wax) painting. Size 7.5 x 5.5 inches, mounted to a 10 x 8 frame mount board all ready to pop straight into a 10 x 8 frame (20.4 x 25.4cms) I have created this artwork using wax and a hot iron, this type of work is known as Encaustic art. Painted over a base I prepared with scraps of vintage paper, wax and metal leaf
