<br />Get lucky with this unique pendant! A sterling silver pendant with a United Kingdom penny coin set in it. The coin is from 1976, and has the words “new penny†inscribed on it – all penny coins now have the words “one penny†so it is an old new penny!

<br />I handcut the pendant base from silver, and then soldered a handmade chunky bezel to it. I then added a unique bail, a solid ball of sterling silver and used my saw to add cut out details before securely setting the coin in the bezel. I have cut a hole in the rear of the pendant so the year of the coin manufacture (1976) can be seen.

<br />The pendant is entirely hand fabricated using sheet and wire sterling silver and has been given an antique patina. The coin is copper plated steel.

<br />The pendant is 26mm (1.1 inch) wide and 33mm (1.3 inch) long and fixed to a 16 inch chain.
