Description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

A piano, a brand new design for 2014 as I've had a piano in my mind for some time.

I've made an octave of keys in shiny ivory white glass with an iridescent shimmer.
I've made the accidental keys, not in black like a real piano, but in five rainbow shades.

To give it a more attractive shape I've formed the keyboard on a slight curve and I've framed it for strength and neatness with twisted wire.

To make it a little bit more musical I've added two little wire semi-quavers to the G key.

It is approximately 11,5 x 6 cm and hangs from a silver little chain securely attached at either side of the top by soldered rings.
