As the dawn breaks and the sun peaks up over the mountains the rooster will begin to crow. I love to imagine the early morning on the farm. The smell of bacon and eggs wafting from the kitchen, and the farmer heading out to milk the cow. This recipe box looks like its been on the counter in Grandma's kitchen for generations, and is just waiting to be filled with the wonderful old hand written recipes of your loved ones. We used a cream colored milk paint to create the look of ages of use, and the rooster detail makes it the perfect accent for a farm style kitchen
