Description
Coin shaped rutilated quartz beads hang from antiqued copper hoop earrings to create a laid back, earthy look. The rutilated quartz used in this creation is of a lower grade so each bead is different, and varies from clear with golden rutiles, to mossy green to a deep, rich copper color. Although I also enjoy using higher grade rutilated quartz, I love the variety of the stones here, and I think it lends the earrings a fun, bohemian quality. The hoops measure 23 mm in diameter, or 7/8", and the stones hang from handmade, handfired artisan headpins each with a shiny copper ball at the end. There are 7 stones per earring for a total of 14 stones. A fun and flirty look for fall.
