Sock yarn handpainted merino alpaca 100g
<br />Fancy knitting some spectacular socks? The base yarn for this is 50% merino wool, 25% alpaca and 25% acrylic sock yarn weight. The yarn is beautifully soft when knitted up. I dip dyed this one in medium shades of lilac and silver grey, leaving some white for contrast. The last picture shows the same skein before rewinding. There is plenty here to make a great pair of socks (hundreds of free patterns out there!) or, of course, a scarf, lacy shawl, hat, gloves etc.
