Description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
<br />
<br />I designed this for a commission in 2013 and I think it is quite stunning and very special.
<br />This is now the 14th I've made and they are all different.
<br />
<br />It is a 'picture' of a sun, a sunrise, over the sea in a ring.
<br />The picture is framed with a strengthening border of twisted wire.
<br />
<br />The sun's rays are made from 7 different colours and textures of red, amber and yellow glass with lots of streaks to denote the rays.
<br />The sun is a bright circle of textured yellow glass and the sea is mixed green and blue.
