Description

A matt black wooden tea caddy box with a pewter embossed design of two scrolls on either side of the word Tea on the lid. Both the back and front have 3 tea cups in high relief, each with its own scrolled design.

<br />This bespoke 3 division 6mm MDF box is manufactured exclusively for my shop. It is coated with a black matt hardwearing paint which washes very well.
<br />
<br />The lid swivels on 2 concealed pins so that it lies flush with the back, front and sides.
<br />
<br />The finish has a smooth feel to it rather than textured.
<br />
<br />The pewter is lead-free and safe for any use.
<br />
<br />The embossing is done by hand using only hand tools. The back of the embossed design is filled to prevent denting. It is then aged using a patina and finally polished to the antique silver-looking antique finish
<br />
