I have used 8 mm dyed jade, that has markings within it, giving rise to an unusual, but attractive, 'mottled' effect.

<br />These semi-precious gemstones hang with a smaller rich brown crystal on bronze wires. I have added filigree beadcaps to give some additional interest and detail.

<br />The bronze findings give the earrings something of a vintage appearance.

<br />The earrings hang to around 2 cms from the base of the bead wire, so they are quite dainty and petite.
