A Beautiful double sided highly polished Crinoid Fossil Jasper Gemstone specimen, which is polished on both surfaces and rounded on the edges, flatter,on the back and more beveled to the front, but beautiful from both aspects. It has been drilled centrally near the top and teamed up with a large silvertone rounded triangle bail and 2.5cms diameter split ring.Crinoids, also known as sea lillies, or feather-stars, are marine animals that are still found in our seas and oceans today, but have been around for over 500 million years!
They live both in shallow water and in depths as great as 6,000 meters.
